Happy Thanksgiving from Calvary Chapel Old Bridge!

We pray that God blesses you as you take the time to remember His faithfulness tomorrow. I was listening to today's bridging the gap radio show message and wanted to share it with you. Pastor Lloyd gave this message on the first Thanksgiving after September 11th, 2001. It blessed me to hear his heart and I think you will enjoy it too.

God Bless!

Just wanted to testify on how the Lord continues His work even if we have moved onto something else. My wife and I attended the couples retreat a few months back. During the course of the weekend, we were blessed to be able to share the gospel and pray with the cashier at the hotel's convenience store. She was a woman from a Hindu family, but she was still open to hear what we felt led to share with her. We truly perceived that the Lord would continue this work and we left the hotel with a confidence that we would see our new friend again. Well, the Lord led us to go back to that hotel to see if she was still there and of course she was! She blessed us so much and we again got to pray for her and her family, and were able to exchange information so that we could continue on in what God has for us here. Even though the couples retreat is a few months behind us, we believe that the Lord is continuing to provide the increase as He leads us to plant and water. Praise the Lord.

      John 5:17
But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”
