Well it was a huge blessing to see the Calvary Christian School's Christmas program this last Monday evening. What a joy for Karen and I to see the fruit of so many years of prayer. The joy of young chlldren's trek into the musical arts acknowledging their Savior. Now looking forward to the Christmas Service celebrating the coming of Jesus into this world, born a little baby, entering this world from the the glory of heaven to a humble home: Immanuel, God with us. And then the new year awaits us. Looking forward to our New Years Eve Celebration. I think those who come will greatly enjoy the music from our beloved Gia who returns for a visit. And the Year in Review video will bless your socks off andcertainly expand your vision for the next year. The highlight to me, however, is the fellowship and welcoming in the new year together, looking unto Him. Who knows challenges are ahead. But then, He said He would go with us. But for now, a whole new venture lies before us as our daughter, Jessica, is as I write this, now in labor with our first grandchild. I took her to the hospital for some doctor ordered checks four days past her due date and they did not want her to leave... and so it begins... I had flashbacks while she was getting situated in the room. While keeping her company, awaiting for her number one man to arrive, I couldn't resist the urge to play Butterfly Kisses on my computer much to her annoyance as a labor pain hit. Mike arrived and my time was up. Lord, she and our little grandson are in Your hands. So a new little life is on the verge of entering this world before the new year. We rejoice!

I'm sure that experience in the hospital with Jess will be one for the memory record books. I can imagine it's a story that will be told and re-told to your grandson for many years to come. What a blessing!!!
