The New Jersey State Legislature got it wrong twice in one day last month. On December 14th they passed a bill allotting $270 million to provide funding to help build and equip five stem cell research facilities. And if that wasn’t bad enough another bill sanctioning the establishment of civil unions for those involved in homosexual relationships was also passed. I believe the outcome of the decisions made on that one historic day will greatly affect the stability of our state, and nation, in the years to come.

As believers we know that ultimately our hope is in Jesus and not in the political system, but I also believe that as American citizens we have a responsibility to let our voices be heard on issues such as these.
