The Most Amazing Christmas Present of 2006: Our New Grandson

It was good to spend time over New Year's reflecting upon the exciting things that the Lord has been doing here at CCOB throughout 2006. But I would be remiss not to share with you the greatest joy and blessing that this past year has brought to me personally--the birth of our first grandson, Riley.

He came into our lives on December 22nd, and although he has only been a part of our family for a few short weeks, he has completely stolen our hearts. Being a grandparent IS as good as they say it is, actually it's better!  But I certainly wouldn’t be a very good grandpa if I didn’t have a few photos to share. So, I’ve attached some pics below. Enjoy!

Blessings,

Lloyd

He's just  an hour old in these two shots

What an amazing Christmas present!

I truly delight in the Lord's gift of another foal to your flock. I pray that He guides little Riley's parents in raising him into a man who will know and love the Lord, and walk in His ways. May God continue to rain down blessings on you and yours, Pastor Lloyd. :o)

I just remembered you have a website of your own now and thought you might have pix of Riley.... and you do! He is precious and I cried when you made the announcement of his birth. I love how you told us, I couldn't imagine what the gift was that no one else had and no one else could ever give to you. It was wonderful! May God bless Riley always and keep him and all of your family in His care! Eileen
