Amazing Grace was an outstanding movie. I went on Sun night and was blown away -- absolutely blown away... Not only was the movie no average Christian B movie, but a top rate production with some of the finest acting I have seen, but the story had me in tears and moved me in a way I have not been moved by a movie in over two decades.

I really want people to go to see this movie before it leaves the big screen which will probably be soon because it was not well attended. Click here to check out showtimes around the Old Bridge area.

The movie features the abolitionist William Wilberforce whom you can read up about from this site: http://www.leaderu.com/focus/wilberforce.html

I hope you are encouraged by the movie. Post your comments about what you thought after you've seen it.

God Bless,
Lloyd Pulley

My wife and I went to see this film and we totally enjoyed it.

What most impressed on my heart was the fact that even today in politics, it takes perseverance and dedication to get your message out. As Mr. Wilberforce set out to champion the slavery issue, he was against all odds. All the big business was against him and only a small few in the Parliament was with him. It took twenty years of debate before he was finally successful. He got a piece of legislation passed that took away the protection of the slavery ships and in turn drove them out of business. Two years later, abolishment of slavery was enacted.
The movie has superb acting and great cinematography. A must see.
