I really wanted to say, I've been out of church for a while. I have always considered ccob my home church. I've had so many bad things happen to me over the last five or six years. I had a massive stroke that should of killed me or crippled me, I have a daughter that has a lot of mental issues and caused major malfunction in my family. I have a husband who constantly looks at porn and does things that I don't even know or nag him about. I listen to 99.1 all the time and kept conteplating for about a good year of going back to church. I talked to Dan M. I cant remember his last name. I was going to get counseling from him. He had previously given my husband and me marriage counceling and I felt I wouldn't have to rehash things and he would understand. He asked me 3 questions. Have I been reading my bible doing a daily devotion and am I involved in a home group and most importantly have I been going to church. Well the answer to all of those questions was no,. So I went wednesday night. I heard about Jesus take the wheel. It was exactly what I needed to be reminded about. I listened urgently and wish I could afford to buy his book but I really cant. I brought my son who is ten and swears that he hates calvary. He had a blast. Bruce, the usher who I have known for 15 years when I used to come regulary seemed to take chris right under his wing and made chris comfortable. I met a woman who is involved in a home group right where I was looking in manalapan and let me tell you God just really ministered to me that night and I really can't wait to come back so I will see you saturday. I'm crying right now, but they are really tears of joy, because we do forget how much God loves us no matter where we are at, and I have to remind myself everyday to let Jesus take the wheel. I felt I had to tell you. Tinamarie Reply to this
